Locking Arms with Each Other
Here at Daybreak Community Church, we believe that the best way to live the big life is in close and reliable groups of people who believe in Jesus Christ and the Bible. We think that a great way to build this kind of camaraderie is in small groups that meet regularly to live life together and guide each other. At Daybreak, we try to help everybody choose a small group, so that they can learn with each other what it means to pursue the big life to which Jesus has called us.
Every small group is different, but each of them is driven by a core value to build loyal friendships with each other, studying the Bible together, and praying with one another. Most groups have weekly meetings for Bible study and prayer, but some choose to meet more just to hang out together.
A small group is more than just studying the Bible (though we think that’s really important); it is loyalty. They commit to you, and you commit to them. While a major purpose of a small group is training in righteousness, we believe this is best done through deep and trusting friendships with Godly people.
