Helping Others Along

At Daybreak, we take a special interest in caring for children with special needs. We do this in several ways.

• Buddies: We assign a buddy to every special needs child. This buddy attends classes with them, making them feel welcome while assisting them in the classroom.
• Ramps: We happily accept requests to build wheelchair ramps for families with special needs.
• Respite: About once a quarter, Daybreak leads and staffs cooperative efforts with other local churches to take care of special needs children and provide a much-needed respite for their parents.

We believe that God cares for each and every person, and we feel called to extend His love by caring for these people in a direct and humble manner.
